Comedy Central Records releases Myq Kaplans's digital album "Meat Robot" on Tuesday, June 11.
Showcasing his wickedly smart and witty brand of humor, Kaplan's "Meat Robot" is the comedian's newest fast-paced, mind-melting and side-splitting stand-up comedy album. Kaplan delves into his grandmother's attempts to make grammar fun, how to avoid being axe-murdered and his love for fake meat names. Other topics include "Open Relationships and Tigers," "Chuck Norris and Owls," and "Super Mario and Will Smith." Kaplan is a 2010 Last Comic Standing finalist and has appeared on "The Tonight Show," "The Late Show with David Letterman," "The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson," "COMEDY CENTRAL Presents," and "Conan." His album "Vegan Mind Meld" was one of iTunes' top ten best-selling comedy albums in 2010 and The Comedians magazine calls him "a comedy machine, in the best possible way." Previously released recordings by Comedy Central Records include: Aziz Ansari's "Dangerously Delicious," "Jim Gaffigan's "Mr. Universe," George Lopez' "It's Not Me, It's You," Reggie Watts' "ALive At Central Park," Hannibal Buress' "Animal Furnace," John Mulaney's "New in Town," Patton Oswalt's "Finest Hour," Lewis Black's "The Prophet," Louis C.K.'s "Hilarious," Bo Burnham's "WORDS, WORDS, WORDS," Mitch Hedberg's "Do You Believe in Gosh?," Dane Cook's platinum-selling "Harmful If Swallowed" and double-platinum "Retaliation," and the Grammy Award-winning "Lewis Black: The Carnegie Hall Performance," among others.Videos
