Welcome back inside the many minds of Nick Kroll as Comedy Central's critically-acclaimed pop culture sketch-uational comedy series "Kroll Show" returns for a second season. Kroll brings his characters back to life with more drama and hilarity than ever before, including publicist "Liz" trying to cope with her pregnant coworker; renowned canine plastic surgeon "Dr. Armond," who gets involved in a murder mystery; more wild and absurd moments from the "Rich Dicks," and "Bobby Bottleservice," who moves into a "Gigolo House." The eleven-episode second season kicks off on Tuesday, January 14 at 10:30 p.m. ET/PT. Fans can catch up with a "Best Of" season one episode on Tuesday, December 10 at 10:30 p.m. ET/PT, following the season finale of "Tosh.0."
In the premiere episode, we learn that one of the "PubLIZity" girls, "Pretty Liz" (played by
Jenny Slate) is pregnant which makes "Liz" (Kroll) spin out of control; Kroll's delinquent teenage character "C-Czar" gets sent off to "Dad Academy;" "Gil" and "George" reunite to pull another "Too Much Tuna" prank; and prepare yourself for "Cake Train." Known for his role as "Ruxin" in the
FX comedy "The League," along with his stand-up specials and roles on "Community," "Childrens Hospital," "Parks and Recreation" and "Portlandia," among other credits, Nick Kroll (@nickkroll) returns to
Comedy Central as the creator/writer/star of "Kroll Show." Not just a sketch show, the series is ultimately Kroll's smart and absurd take on of-the-moment pop culture topics like internet life, professional sports, nightclub culture and the television landscape.
Kroll's memorable characters will invade the Web with episode previews, show highlights and character mash-ups on the "Kroll Show" Web site. Starting December 10, a Best Of season one episode and the entire first season of "Kroll Show" will be made available on cc.com for fans to catch up before the season premiere. Throughout the season, fans can follow Kroll's characters on Tumblr, where they will be interacting with celebrities, commenting on pop culture and inserting themselves into the zeitgeist. In addition, the "Kroll Show" Facebook page will be updated multiple times weekly with the latest content from the show.
Episodes from "Kroll Show" will be available in SD and HD the day after air on iTunes, Xbox Video, Amazon Instant Video, Sony PlayStation Store, Vudu and Samsung Media Hub.
"Kroll Show" is executive produced and written by Kroll, John Levenstein ("Arrested Development") and Jonathan Krisel ("Portlandia"), who is also directing and executive produced by Mosaic's Christie Smith.
Jon Daly ("Betas") serves as Co-Executive Producer and actor in the series. Jim Sharp and Monika Zielinska are the Executives in Charge of Production for Comedy Central.
