Comedy Central will broadcast and stream Live Election Night episodes of "The Daily Show with Jon Stewart" and "The Colbert Report" back-to-back on Tuesday, November 4 from 11:00-11:30 p.m. ET (8:00-8:30 p.m. PT) and 11:30-Midnight ET (8:30-9:00 p.m. PT) respectively. Stewart and Colbert will be anchoring the Live Midterm Election Night episodes from their own studios.
Fans will be able to view the Live Midterm Election Night episodes through a multiplatform streaming experience on cc.com and through the
Comedy Central App.
"The Daily Show's" special political coverage, "Democalypse 2014: America Remembers It Forgot to Vote" will feature news and results analysis from host Jon Stewart and The Best F#@king News Team Ever with a guest appearance via satellite by Reince Priebus, Chairman of the Republican National Committee.
"The Colbert Report's" special political coverage for The Nation, "Midterms '014: Detour to Gridlock: An Exciting Thing That I Am Totally Interested In-Wait! Don't Change the Channel. Look at this Video of a Duckling Following a Cat Dressed Like a Shark Riding a Roomba! '014!" will include host Stephen Colbert's patriotic fervor and insightful conjecture of the results with a guest appearance by Andrew Sullivan of The Daily Dish.
Jon Stewart, Steve Bodow, Jen Flanz, Tim Greenberg, Jill Katz and Adam Lowitt are the Executive Producers of "The Daily Show with Jon Stewart" with Hillary Kun as Co-Executive Producer. Supervising Producers are Pam DePace, Justin Melkmann and Stuart Miller. Kahane Cooperman is Producer. The series' Head Writer is Elliott Kalan and it is directed by Chuck O'Neil.
"The Colbert Report" is produced by Jon Stewart's Busboy Productions, Inc. in association with Colbert's Spartina Productions, Inc. Stewart, Colbert and Tom Purcell are the Executive Producers with Meredith Bennett, Barry Julien and Emily Lazar as Co-Executive Producers.
