Actress/comedian Sunda Croonquist will be featured on ABC-TV network's Emmy award-winning daytime talk show "The View" today, July 12th at 11:00 a.m.-12:00 noon, ET. The Paterson, NJ native will be profiled during the popular "Joy's Comedy Corner" segment - presented by "View" co-host Joy Behar - which has featured many nationally known comedy performers. Croonquist, who was born to an African-American mother and Swedish father, is the co-host of "James and Sunda", a late night talk show on Jewish Life Television. Now living on the West coast, Sunda regularly appears at The Laugh Factory in Hollywood and has been featured on: Oprah's "OWN", "The Today Show", Nickelodeon, Entertainment Tonight, Comedy Central, "Law & Order" and a host of other programs.
Sunda is also known for her philanthropic side, as she is the chairperson of "Gilda's Club of Northern New Jersey's "Laugh Off!" For 14 years the annual stand-up comedy competition has brought resources and awareness to the nonprofit "Club" which creates free support for individuals whose lives have been touched by cancer along with their families and friends.
