"Russ was truly one of a kind, and I'm incredibly grateful that I was not only able to help tell his story with All Things Must Pass but far more importantly I got to know Russ and am lucky to have been able to call him a friend," said Hanks. "I'm honored that the NASHVILLE Film Festival will be showing the documentary as we honor his contribution to the music world."

"As we continue the tradition of celebrating the music industry as a key component of our festival, it seems fitting to have this documentary screened following Russ' passing and we're honored that Colin will be part of the special event with a Q&A to talk about the man he profiled and the friendship they established," said Brian Owens, NASHVILLE Film Festival's Artistic Director.

Earlier in the day, Hanks will also pay tribute to Solomon during his induction into the Music Business Hall of Fame, as part 60th anniversary conference of the Music Business Association (Music Biz).
