Colin Ferguson to Star in Bill Lawrence FOX Pilot LIKE FATHER

According to TVLine.com, actor Colin Ferguson is set to star in the Bill Lawrence upcoming Fox pilot LIKE FATHER. The show, is set to be a single-camera comedy inspired by Lawrence's real-life relationship with his father. Fegurson has been cast in the role of the father. Lawrence will also serve as director and executive producer of the project from Warner Brothers.

The pilot episode will introduce Feguson's character just after his wife has passed away. He shows up at his son Will's college for a long visit, in the hope that his son will be able to open up to him and share his grief. 

Lawrence is co-creator of the ABC comedy series 'Courgar Town'. He also was behind the long-running sitcom 'Scrubs'. Ferguson is best known for his starring role in 'Eureka'.
