Atlantic recording artist Christina Perri has announced a number of upcoming live dates in support of two charitable organizations she holds near and dear to her heart.

The acclaimed singer/songwriter will join an array of superstars -- including Steven Tyler, Roger Daltrey, and Lionel Richie -- at the annual "Raise Your Voice" event benefitting the Voice Health Institute, slated for January 24th at the Beverly Hills Hotel in Beverly Hills, California. The private dinner and auction will recognize VHI founder Dr. Steven Zeitels' 25 years of innovative work in voice restoration, research and care while raising funds for ongoing research to restore speaking and singing capability to individuals whose voices have been lost or damaged by disease or trauma. Perri -- who, like such gifted singers as Adele, is personally indebted to Dr. Zeitels for performing successful vocal surgery -- is also among the Vocal Health Institute's advisory board, headed by Honorary Chairwoman Julie Andrews. Next, Perri will take part in a series of intimate, acoustic concerts presented by To Write Love on Her Arms, a non-profit movement dedicated to presenting hope and finding help for people struggling with depression, addiction, self-injury, and suicide. TWLOHA's "Heavy & Light Tour" will hit 17 cities across the U.S., with each show featuring a unique line-up of artists, including Jon Foreman (performing both solo and with Fiction Family), The Almost's Aaron Gillespie, and Bryce Avery (of The Rocket Summer). Perri is slated to co-headline the tour's three opening dates: January 28th at Anaheim's House of Blues; January 29th at San Diego's House of Blues; and January 30th at the House Of Blues in West Hollywood -- for full details and ticket availability, please visit www.twloha.com.

Named as iTunes' "Breakthrough Pop Artist of 2011," Perri is currently hard at work recording the hugely anticipated follow-up to her breakthrough debut, "lovestrong." Highlighted by the 3x-platinum certified smash, "Jar of Hearts," the Joe Chiccarelli-produced album entered the SoundScan/Billboard 200 among the top 5 upon initial release, while also proving an unqualified international sensation with top 5 success in Australia and Ireland as well as top 10 sales in Canada and the United Kingdom.

Perri followed "lovestrong." with the RIAA platinum certified hit single, "A Thousand Years," exclusively featured on Summit Entertainment/Chop Shop/Atlantic's "THE TWILIGHT SAGA: BREAKING DAWN -- PART 1 -- ORIGINAL MOTION PICTURE SOUNDTRACK." The track was a multi-format radio favorite, with top 10 airplay at Hot AC and top 25 spins at CHR/Top 40 outlets nationwide. What's more, the "A Thousand Years" Companion video was an MTV favorite, earning major play on such platforms as MTV's AMTV, MTV Hits, MTV.com, mtvU, VH1.com, and VH1's Top 20 Video Countdown.
