Christian Borle is heading from Broadway to China.
The Tony-winning actor, who recently starred on NBC's SMASH, has officially signed on for Michael Mann's upcoming, untitled cyber thriller set in China, according to Deadline. Borle joins Chris Hemsworth and Viola Davis for the film from Legendary Pictures. Mann penned with the script alongside Morgan Davis Foehl.
As of now, plot points are being kept quiet, though production is expected to begin next month.

Christian appeared in both the La Jolla Playhouse and NYTW productions of Peter and the Starcatcher, earning a Lucille Lortel Award, as well as Drama Desk and Drama League Award nominations, for his performance.
