EMPIRE Entertainment is about to get some huge stars.
Following a successful first season with high ratings, the producers of EMPIRE have announced that superstars Chris Rock, Alicia Keys, and Lenny Kravitz will guest star on the second season. No word yet on who they will be playing, though they will likely portray themselves.
EMPIRE is an American drama television series which debuted on FOX on January 7, 2015. It centers on a hip hop music and entertainment company, EMPIRE Entertainment, and the drama among the members of the founders' family as they fight for control of the company. The show was created by Lee Daniels and Danny Strong, and stars Terrence Howard and Taraji P. Henson.
On January 17, 2015, EMPIRE was renewed for an 18-episode second season. The season will be broken up into two-parts, the first half of the season will air in Fall 2015, with the second part premiering in Spring 2016.
