According to Deadline, Chris Pratt and Bryce Dallas Howard are both set to return for Universal's upcoming JURASSIC WORLD sequel, hitting theaters on June 22, 2016.
As of now, the project doesn't have an official title or director attached. Colin Trevorrow, who helmed 'WORLD,' will however be returning to write the film's script.
"They have me for I think 38 movies or something," Pratt recently said, who portrays raptor expert Owen in the latest Jurassic Park installment.
Pratt also shared his excitement over meeting famed director Steven Spielberg. "Working with him and having him be a peer now is pretty remarkable," he said. "He's a guy who's an icon. I was never a film buff as a kid. I liked to entertain people and I liked comedy and I liked to escape with a movie now and then, but I knew who Steven Spielberg was."
He continued, "He was the first real celebrity director. Like the director you'd go see his movie because it was his movie. And Jurassic Park was a big event for me."
Steven Spielberg returned to executive produce the long-awaited next installment of his groundbreaking Jurassic Park series. Colin Trevorrow directs the film starring Chris Pratt, Bryce Dallas Howard, Ty Simpkins, Nick Robinson, Irrfan Khan, Vincent D'Onofrio, Jake Johnson, Omar Sy, BD Wong, Judy Greer
Written by Derek Connolly and Colin Trevorrow, the movie is based on characters created by Michael Crichton. Produced by: Frank Marshall, Patrick Crowley and Executive Producers: Steven Spielberg, Thomas Tull.
