According to TVLine.com, Broadway vet Cheyenne Jackson will reprise his role of Danny on the NBC comedy 30 ROCK when it airs its second live episode on April 26. Jackson appeared on the show's last live episode in October 2010. The actor has portrayed the character in nine episodes. His last appearance was April 2011 in an episode marking the 100th episode of the fictional TV show.
The actor joked that his trick for getting through the live broadcast is to “Take your cues from Tina [Fey] and Alec [Baldwin], who are always cool cucumbers, and you’re good to go!”
Jackson made his Broadway debut understudying both male leads in the Tony Award-winning musical Thoroughly Modern Millie. On and Off Broadway, Cheyenne has appeared in Damn Yankees, Xanadu (Drama League, Drama Desk nominations) The Agony & the Agony, All Shook Up (Theater World Award, Drama League, Outer Critics Circle nomination) the premiere cast of Altar Boyz, Aida, Thoroughly Modern Millie, The Cartells, On the 20th Century, and The 24 Hour Plays. Most recently, Jackson appreared on television in the musical smash hit GLEE.
