Cheryl Tiegs was the first celebrity to get the ax on the season premiere of NBC's CELEBRITY APPRENTICE. The show's fifth season kicked off last night and introduced the 18 competitors who were quickly given the challenge of selling sandwiches in two New York City delis. The winning team would be determined by the total amount of money made through sales, tips and donations.

The contestants were split into male and female teams. Paul Teutal, Sr. of “American Chopper” led the mens’ team, who chose to name themselves 'Unanimous'. The women's name chose the name 'Forte'. They picked model Patricia Velasquez as their project manager, and received a big boost from famous pals like Bravo host Andy Cohen, Russell Simmons and Wyclef Jean, all of whom stopped by the deli to give big donations to the team.

Representatives from both teams also did a brief stint on the “The Rachael Ray Show,” where Ray herself evaluated the sandwiches and awarded $35,000 to her favorite one on the men's team. The men were also aided by a $305,000 donation from one of the biker’s unnamed friends. The men donated their earnings to the Make-A-Wish Foundation.

After a heated discussion amongst the ladies in the boardroom who were up for getting fired by Donald Trump, it came down to Victoria Gotti and Cheryl Tiegs. In the end, Tiegs was fired.

This season on NBC's CELEBRITY APPRENTICE, eighteen business-savvy celebrity contestants will compete, not for a job with the Trump Organization, but for the greater goal of raising money and awareness for their charity of choice. The last person standing will be chosen as the Celebrity Apprentice and have the honor of delivering a $250,000 bonus check to their designated charity.

Every week, the celebrity contestants will work in two teams, each under the guidance of a designated project manager, to compete in business-driven tasks around New York City, using their fame, along with their proven business acumen, to win challenges. Contestants are subjected to long hours, grueling deadlines, intellectual challenges, personality clashes, and intense scrutiny under the careful watch of Donald Trump and his advisors.

Certain challenges encourage contestants to reach out to their network of celebrity contacts for assistance or donations, leading to surprise visits by some of the world’s biggest stars and pop culture icons.

Each task will end in the boardroom, where contestants must account for their actions and be judged by Trump and his advisors. Returning this season are Trump’s children and colleagues, Ivanka, Donald Jr. and Eric.
