Fox Sports has named Chara-Lynn Aguiar Vice President of Strategy and Content for Fox Sports National Networks and Chris Healey as Coordinating Producer for Original Programming. The announcement was made today by Charlie Dixon, Executive Vice President of Content for FS1 and FS2, to whom both report.
"We are excited to add Chara and Chris to the
Fox Sports family," Dixon said. "They each possess tremendous vision, and we look forward to their ideas as they help us grow and continue to position ourselves as America's fastest-growing sports cable network."
Aguiar comes to
Fox Sports from YouTube, where she worked on the outlet's entertainment content partnerships. She began her career at
ABC in research before moving to Disney and
ESPN Media Networks to work on global distribution strategy and business development. Aguiar graduated from UCLA with a bachelor of arts in economics/international area studies.
Healey, who in his new position at
Fox Sports plays a key role in the development of new FS1 shows, spent the last 10 years working at
ESPN where he was an associate producer on
SPORTSNATION when the show launched in 2009. In 2012, he became the show's producer and saw the program's move from Bristol to Los Angeles. After graduating from Syracuse, Healey began his career at
ESPN working various remote events, including the U.S. Open,
WORLD SERIES OF POKER and X-Games.
