According to The Hollywood Reporter, celebrities Cee Lo Green, Michael Rapaport, Regina Spektor, Cody Simpson and B.o.B. will be among the many stars featured on the New Warner Music YouTube Channel. The Google-owned channel will air exclusive original material from the MTV and Atlantic Records label.
The channel, set to launch this month, will air “exclusive access to superstars, celebrities and breaking talent along with artist interviews, rare films from the Warner vaults, live events, animated series, scripted comedy and “experimental concepts.” Live-streamed performances will air from Warner Music’s South by Southwest showcase, including T.I., B.o.B., Dr.John, Ed Sheeran, Gary Clark, Jr., Kimbra and Theophilus London.
The company also plans to air 'ManTazia' by Cee Lo Green and filmmaker Mikael Colombu, described as "a short-form series which chronicles the life, times and music of the singer and The Voice judge"
Actor Michael Rapaport will direct a documentary series called 'Untitled', which will feature WMG artists. Another feature, The Live Room, will show recording studio performances from around the world, including B.o.B at Tree Sound Studios in Atlanta. Other projects include 'Countdown To... ", which takes a look at the final days before an album comes out, and 'Finding Cody Simpson' where fans will be able to create their own adventures featuring the teen star.
