The third annual Catalina Film Festival (CCF) wrapped on the famed Catalina Island this weekend. Filmmakers, industry execs, honored guests and celebrities traveled from all over the country to be a part of the unique seaside film festival for a week of screenings, soirees, awards and its first ever Film and Television Market, presented by Jose Cuervo.

The festival, that featured films like the West Coast premiere of Best Man Down and the road trip comedy Ass Backwards, kick-started the weekend by honoring legendary actress Sharon Stone with the Stanley Kramer "Social Artist" Award. The award honors a film professional whose work embodies Kramer's qualities of social consciousness while taking risks to create and influence a social transformation. Following the award, Sharon and VIP guests attended the South Coast Winery Opening Night Catalina Soirée.

Jon Favreau was honored with the "Charlie Chaplin ICON" Award© which recognizes an actor or filmmaker whose work exemplifies Charlie Chaplin's qualities of realism, diversity and courage within their craft. Actress Kate Bosworth was honored with the "Avalon Award" at the Jose Cuervo VIP Brunch before the screening of her movie Big Sur. Patricia Arquette who was also on-hand for the Tony Scott Majestic Award and 20th anniversary screening of True Romance received a Career Tribute award honoring her 28-year career, just before the Stella Artois Gatsby Harbor Cruise. Rising young actress Bailee Madison was also honored with the "Catalina Crest" award before the screening of her Make A Film Foundation film, The Magic Bracelet.
