Cool, TX singer-songwriter native Casey James is set to debut his new single, "The Good Life," on American Idol tonight, April 4 (8:00 - 9:00 PM ET live/ PT tape delayed) on FOX. "The Good Life" is the third single from his self-titled, debut which has yielded the top 20 hits "Crying On A Suitcase" and "Let's Don't Call It A Night." Also performing on the show is season 4 IDOL winner and 6 time Grammy winner, Carrie Underwood.

"This is a dream come true," said Casey. "To be returning to the show as an artist, to sing and play music that I wrote, co-produced and poured myself into, it doesn't get any better for me! I think 'The Good Life' is such a fitting song too."

Last summer, "The Good Life" was chosen as a song for the highlight video for the 2012 Warrior Games. Hosted by the U.S. Olympic Committee's Paralympic Military Program, The Warrior Games are an Olympic Style sporting event for wounded and ill veterans and current members of the U.S. armed forces.

American Idol is produced by 19 Entertainment, a division of Core Media Group, and FremantleMedia North America. The series is created and executive-produced by Simon Fuller, CEO, XIX Entertainment.
