Stage and screen veteran Carla Gugino will appear in the upcoming TNT movie 'Hide,' based on the novel penned by Lisa Gardner of the same name.
Gugino has starred in a wide range of films, including the Spy Kids trilogy, the blockbuster Night at the Museum, as 'Sally Jupiter' in Watchmen, in addition to working with Robert DeNiro and Al Pacino in Righteous Kill. She earned a SAG nomination for her work opposite Russell Crowe in American Gangster.
Her television credits include lead roles in the critically acclaimed series Karen Sisco and Threshold; and memorable guest turns in Spin City; Chicago Hope, and Entourage. Her theater credits include "After the Fall," with Peter Krause and Tennessee Williams's "Suddenly Last Summer," opposite Blythe Danner.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Gugino will star as Boston detective "Warren, who will investigate the mummified remains of six missing women found inside a buried chamber at an abandoned mental hospital. The case will lead Warren to investigate Annabelle, a woman with a secret past and twisted family history."
The film will appear as part of TNT's new Mystery Movie Night, which begins in November.
