Candace Cameron Bure spoke to The Hollywood Reporter in a recent interview and shared details on Netflix's upcoming Full House reboot, titled FULLER HOUSE. The actress, who reprises her role as D.J. Tanner, revealed that previous reports that D.J. is now a recently-widowed mother-of-two with a third child on the way have now changed.

"She's actually not pregnant anymore," Bure tells the site. "The baby's been born. We didn't start it off quite so heavy, so some more time has passed than they originally intended."

Similar to the original series which began on the premise that Danny Tanner (Bob Saget) was left widowed with three young children, Fuller House will have a similar storyline. "It is tragedy that starts off the show, which was like the original Full House, but the themes are always heartfelt," Bure said. "It's always a situation you can always learn something from. Tonally, it will feel the same as the original Full House, which is heartfelt and funny and family friendly, but it's current. It's today's time."

Asked about the identity of DJ's husband, the actress teases, "You'll learn little bits about him throughout the show, just like you did on the original Full House [with Danny's wife]. Whether they'll have flashback scenes or anything like that, I have no idea, but we talk about him because you have to. When that happens and you have children, it's something you have to discuss and discuss those emotions and the healing from it and how to move on."

Candace Cameron-Bure, Jodie Sweetin and Andrea Barber are set to star in Fuller House, with fellow Full House star John Stamos set to produce and reprise his original role of Uncle Jesse as a guest star in the new show. Discussions with Full House stars Bob Saget, Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen, Dave Coulier and Lori Loughlin regarding guest appearances in Fuller House are ongoing.

In Fuller House, the adventures that began in 1987 on Full House continue, with veterinarian D.J. Tanner-Fuller (Cameron-Bure) pregnant and recently widowed, living in San Francisco. D.J.'s younger sister/aspiring musician Stephanie Tanner (Sweetin) and D.J.'s lifelong best friend/fellow single mother Kimmy Gibbler (Barber), along with Kimmy's feisty teenage daughter Ramona, all move in to help take care of D.J.'s two boys - the rebellious 12-year-old J.D. and neurotic 7-year-old Max - and her soon-to-arrive baby.
