Camp MasterChef 2019 to Launch New Locations and Feature Talent from the Show's Finale  Image

Endemol Shine North America, the producers behind MASTERCHEF and MASTERCHEF JUNIOR, and Campus Cerdanya, a leader in summer camps, announced today the expansion of CAMP MASTERCHEF in three new locations in summer 2019 - Los Angeles (CA), Chicago (IL) and Houston (TX) - joining the Connecticut and Georgia locations that will return for a second year.

Camp MASTERCHEF will be ramping up its all-star talent roster, as well, with the addition of current MASTERCHEF finalists Gerron Hurt (Nashville), Cesar Cano (Houston) and Ashley Mincey (Miami), who are competing in tonight's two-hour finale, airing from 8:00-10:00 PM ET/PT on FOX.

CAMP MASTERCHEF programming includes special competitions, hands-on cooking lessons, outdoor sports activities, interactive challenges and more. Campers stay in accommodations with premium facilities at Scripps College (Los Angeles, CA), Lake Forest Academy (Chicago, IL), The Village School (Houston, TX), Rabun Gap-Nacoochee School (Rabun-Gap, GA) and The Kent School (Kent, CT). As featured culinary talent, the finalists will teach campers hands-on cooking skills and techniques. Gerron, Cesar and Ashley are all TEACHERS with a passion for cooking, as well as for educating youth.

CAMP MASTERCHEF debuted in the U.S. in 2018, featuring MASTERCHEF and MASTERCHEF JUNIOR talent, including winners Shaun O'Neal (MASTERCHEF Season 7), Claudia Sandoval (MASTERCHEF Season 6), Beni Cwiakala (MASTERCHEF JUNIOR Season 6) and Jasmine Stewart (MASTERCHEF JUNIOR Season 5).

With a mission is to engage aspiring home cooks, CAMP MASTERCHEF offers an enriching and immersive culinary experience designed for kids and teens ages 8-16:

• Campers sharpen their culinary skills under instruction from expert chefs.

• Training with a staff of culinary professionals and counselors, campers develop healthy lifestyle and personal growth skills.

• In addition to culinary activities, campers participate in sports and outdoor activities and enjoy exciting theme parties each night.

• Campers interact with MASTERCHEF and MASTERCHEF JUNIOR contestants (more to be announced).

• Camp venues include comfortable dormitories, open fields, modern sports facilities, swimming pools and other amenities to make it a summer to remember.

Weekly rates start at $1,690. Register by October 31, 2018 with the code EARLYBIRD20 to receive 20% off camp tuition. An additional 5% discount is available if paid in full at the time of registration. Talent subject to change.
