Production has started on AT&T's new season of "YOU ME HER", from global independent studio Entertainment One (eOne). The 10 episode season is filming in Vancouver and will air exclusively on AUDIENCE ® Network next year.
Starring Greg Poehler ("Welcome to Sweden"), Rachel Blanchard ("Clueless", "Fargo") and Priscilla Faia ("Rookie Blue"), "YOU ME HER" infuses the grounded and relatable sensibilities of an indie romantic comedy with a distinctive twist. Season one was a "contemporary classic rom-com" that just happened to involve three people, from meet cute straight through the iconic race to the airport. Now that grad student Izzy (Faia) is moving in with suburban couple Jack (Poehler) and Emma (Blanchard), season two is about the complex realities of "throupling," proving their best, truest, happiest lives really are together, even when what they want and when doesn't seem to match up at all.
"AUDIENCE Network viewers have fallen in love with Jack, Emma, and Izzy and their unconventional but genuine relationship," said Chris Long, senior vice president, Original Content and Production, AT&T. "John Scott Shepherd has created a dynamic among these characters that is as fun and surprising as it is accessible and grounded. With the continued commitment of our incredibly talented cast and our partnership with eOne Television, we are excited to deliver another season of this fantastic series."
"We're thrilled to get cameras rolling on season two," said John Morayniss, Chief Executive Officer, eOne Television. "With the incredible support from our broadcast partners at AT&T, John Scott Shepherd's brilliant writing and our committed and outstanding cast, we're ready to deliver another wonderfully complicated season to our amazing fans."
Returning alongside Poehler, Faia and Blanchard are Ennis Esmer ("Blindspot", "Miss Sloane") and Jennifer Spence ("Travelers", "Continuum") as neighbors Dave and Carmen along with Melanie Papalia ("Suits", "Endgame") as Nina, Izzy's roommate.
"YOU ME HER" was created and written by EP/showrunner John Scott Shepherd ("Henry's List of Wrongs", "The Days", and "Save Me"). Sara St. Onge is directing all episodes of the second season. eOne finances, produces and controls worldwide rights to the series. eOne Television's John Morayniss, CEO, Gerard Bocaccio, SVP US Scripted Development and Debra Curtis, SVP Current Programming are overseeing for the studio with Jonathan Schwartz producing.
Alta Loma Entertainment's Peter Jaysen ("American Playboy") serves as an Executive Producer along with Alan Gasmer (Vikings).
