At this weekend's Comic-Con, Ryan Murphy shared details on one of the upcoming television season's most anticipated shows, AMERICAN HORROR STORY: HOTEL on FX, according to Variety.
"Everybody on this side of the table are bad boy and girls this time," said Murphy, referring to Comic Con panelists and cast members Angela Bassett, Matt Bomer, Evan Peters, Sarah Paulson and Kathy Bates. In addition, it was revealed that Matt Bomer will portay 'Donovan', with Peters as 'Mr. March', Paulson as 'Hypodermic Sally' and Bates as 'Iris.' Speaking on the exciting casting of singer Lady Gaga, Murphy revealed that she too will portray a baddie on the show, a request that came directly from the 'Cheek to Cheek' vocalist. "She said, 'I want to be evil,'" he said of his first meeting with Gaga. "I said, 'You came to the write place.'" He continued, "It was one of the weirdest things of my career ever. 'Horror Story' has a lot of fans obviously and I get calls from some people...how it happened with Gaga is she wrote and said, 'I love the show, would you consider putting me on it?' And I wrote back, 'Yes. CAPS CAPS...' The best call ever is 'Please wait for Gaga'...and she got on the phone and could not have been lovelier."Murphy also revealed that the newest installment of the AHS series will see some familiar faces coming back. "Things are connected," he said." This season, you'll see more and more and more of that. Characters from previous seasons will come check into the hotel."
