A third Hillary Clinton project is now in the works - this one from CNN Films.
According to Deadline, the studio has ordered a new documentary following the life of the former First Lady turned Senator turned Secretary of State, with Academy Award-winner Charles Ferguson set to direct. The film will hit theaters in 2014, before airing on CNN in anticipation of Clinton's potential 2016 presidential bid.
"I am very excited to be making a film about Hillary Rodham Clinton, whose fascinating life and work embody so many of America's, and the world's, hopes and challenges", Ferguson said in a statement today. "I am delighted and extremely grateful that CNN Films has given me this remarkable opportunity."

The news comes just two days after NBC announced it had ordered a miniseries about the former New York senator, with Diane Lane set to play Clinton. The miniseries, titled HILLARY, will be written and directed by Courtney Hunt and will go in-depth on Clinton's life from 1998 to the present.
Temple Hill and The Arlook Group have also begun development on a biopic titled Rodham, which will follow the former First Lady, senator and Secretary of State's younger years, beginning in 1974 when Clinton worked as a lawyer. The film, penned by Young il-Kim, is expected to debut in 2016. James Ponsoldt is currently in talks to direct.
