Today, CNBC reveals the small businesses that will be featured on new episodes of "The Profit" premiering tonight, October 14 at 10pm ET/PT. The ten original hour-long episodes, including a special update episode, follow self-made millionaire and serial entrepreneur Marcus Lemonis as he saves struggling businesses while investing his own cash in the process.

Since 'The Profit' first premiered, Marcus Lemonis, Chairman and CEO of Camping World and Good Sam Enterprises, has invested more than $7 million of his own money in the companies featured on the series.

The nine small businesses featured in upcoming new episodes include: (*alphabetical order; air dates to be announced)

  • Artistic Stitch - Glendale, NY
  • ASL Sign Sales & Services - Surfside Beach, SC
  • Coopersburg Sports - Coopersburg, PA
  • Courage.b - New York, NY
  • My Big Fat Greek Gyro - McMurray, PA
  • Shuler's BBQ - Latta, SC
  • Swanson's Fish Markets - Fairfield, CT
  • Unique Salon & Spa - Syosset, NY
  • West End Coffee Company - Greenville, SC

In each episode, Lemonis makes an offer that's impossible to refuse; his cash for a piece of the business and a percentage of the profits. And once inside these companies, he'll do almost anything to save the business and make himself a profit; even if it means firing the president, promoting the secretary or doing the work himself.
