With no deal in place and the deadline quickly approaching, CNBC, First in Business Worldwide, will dedicate a day of coverage to the fiscal cliff, "Mission Critical: Rise Above DC."
On Tuesday, December 11th, throughout the network's Business Day programming, CNBC anchors and reporters will broadcast live from Washington, D.C. Beginning with "Squawk Box" (M-F, 6AM-9AM ET), CNBC's Jim Cramer and Becky Quick will anchor from the halls of Congress, leading every hour through the morning with a "Rise Above Report" and speaking to key figures and lawmakers pressing them to explain why there is still no deal and explaining what's at stake. Starting at noon, CNBC's Maria Bartiromo and BrIan Sullivan will report from the Capitol for CNBC's afternoon programs. At 3PM ET, Maria Bartiromo will move to the White House to broadcast live for "Closing Bell" (M-F, 3PM-5PM ET). CNBC's "Fast Money" (M-F, 5PM-6PM ET), will focus on how money, business and investors are preparing for what the fiscal cliff or a deal would mean for the markets. CNBC's Jim Cramer will host a special edition of "Mad Money" (M-F, 6PM & 11PM ET) and CNBC's Larry Kudlow will finish the day anchoring "The Kudlow Report" (M-F, 7PM-8PM ET) live from Washington, D.C.Videos
