CMT Saturday nights are heating up with the return of the tough-as-nails TEXAS WOMEN and the fun new SOUTHERN NIGHTS, which promises drama in the beautiful southern city of Savannah, Ga. The evening kicks off with TEXAS WOMEN on Saturday, April 7 beginning at 9:00 p.m., ET/PT, followed by the series premiere of SOUTHERN NIGHTS at 10:00 p.m., ET/PT.
CMT's TEXAS WOMEN, including, Brooke, Ali, Hannah and Anna, are back for a second season with more fun, more drama and more Texas. These Texas women may look like your classic beauties but they're tough and have a lot on their plates, juggling careers, family and friends. As fans saw last season, these ladies are larger than life - from roping cattle and breeding bucking bulls to barrel racing and recording their next single - their love for all things Texas binds this group together. This season of TEXAS WOMEN picks up where the last one left off and fans will find out if Brooke and Hannah can mend fences and whether or not the four friends can become close again. Boisterous newcomers also factor into the group dynamics.
The drama continues when SOUTHERN NIGHTS brings together ten well-known cast members from SWEET HOME ALABAMA to Savannah where they will live and party together, and some relationships will begin and others will be tested as past conflicts resurface and different lifestyles collide. In the series premiere, the friends settle into their Savannah home and head out to a nightclub where a disturbance sends one of the roommates to the hospital.
TEXAS WOMEN is produced by 3 Ball Productions/Eyeworks USA with executive producers JD Roth, Todd A. Nelson, Adam Kaloustian and Ross Breitenbach. Melanie Moreau and Jayson Dinsmore are executive producers for CMT.
