Comedian and faithful supporter of the Armed Forces Foundation Ron White joins CMT for an evening full of laughs, when CMT PRESENTS RON WHITE'S VEGAS SALUTE TO THE TROOPS 2013 premieres tonight, March 15 at 10:00 p.m., ET/PT on CMT. Filmed live at the Mirage Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas earlier this year, White is joined on stage by comedians Josh Blue, John Caparulo, Kathleen Madigan, Ralphie May and Brian Regan for the third anniversary of the show dedicated to those who serve in the military.
The cigar-smoking, scotch-drinking White headlines the 90-minute special, giving his thoughts on being banned from the popular dating site "Christian Mingle," having as many Tour de France wins as Lance Armstrong, and offering advice on child rearing. The special also includes interviews with Sgt. Jonny Joseph "Joey" Jones, and Paige and Jeff McDonald, parents of the late soldier Chris McDonalD. Jones is a U.S. Marine who lost both of his legs while serving in Afghanistan and the McDonald's lost their son to PTSD in March of 2012. Both Jones and the McDonald's work closely with the Armed Forces Foundation. For more information about the Armed Forces Foundation, visit www.ArmedForcesFoundation.org.
