Comedian Ron White is returning to CMT, armed with a cigar in one hand and a glass of scotch in the other, when his latest comedy special RON WHITE: A LITTLE UNPROFESSIONAL makes its television premiere tonight, June 15 at 11:00 p.m., ET/PT on CMT. The two-hour special was filmed live at the Paramount Theater in Austin, Texas, and was released to fans via White's website last Fall.
Ron White is an avid supporter of the Armed Forces, and has performed for the Troops at military bases in the U.S. and around the world. A touring comedian since 1986, he gained national fame in 2000 when he joined the Blue Collar Comedy Tour, performing with Jeff Foxworthy, Bill Engvall, and Larry the Cable Guy. Since then, he has gone on to tour solo, selling out venues across North America. The tour's success earned him a place among the top three highest grossing comedians during the past five years. White is a two-time Grammy nominated comedy artist, all of his albums have been certified gold or platinum, and he has a New York Times Best Seller to his name. His acting experience includes a co-starring role in "Jayne Mansfield's Car"; the film was directed by Billy Bob Thornton and selected for the Berlin Film Festival and Toronto International Film FestivAl.
