CMT today announced "Party Down South" will return next year. For the forthcoming fifth season, for the first time, the series will be filmed in Savannah, Georgia and will once again feature the original cast - Daddy, Lyle, Murray, Walt, Hannah/"Hott Dogg," Lauren, Mattie and Tiffany.

Having recently kicked off its fourth season in St Petersburg, Florida in late August, the renewal comes on the heels of the series notching its highest ratings since season two delivering a .88 L+3 rating with W18-49. Season three ranks as CMT's highest rated and most social original series this year, attracting nearly 3 million total weekly viewers across all platforms and generating two million impressions on Twitter. Collectively, CMT original series are up 11% year-over-year among A18-49.

"Party Down South" follows eight young, brazen adults for one wild summer of extreme fun. Their summer vacation spot may never be the same after these fast friends work, party and bond with one another over their common love of the South.
