CLOO will feature a 24-hour marathon of the classic television series MANNIX on Saturday, January 28 starting at 6 AM. A long-time fan of the show, Ted Linhart, senior vice president of research for USA Network and CLOO, chose his favorite 12 episodes to be a part of the marathon which feature a variety of episodes including Diane Keaton in one of her earliest roles.

MANNIX developed by Bruce Geller, creator of "Mission: Impossible," was a long-running Emmy(R) and Golden Globe(R)-winning series (1967-1975) known for its over-the-top fistfights, inventive title sequence, and swinging theme song. Linhart first discovered the series reading about it as a kid but was only able to watch episodes while working for a TV station in Chicago which owned the show. He has since been faithfully watching every episode as each new season has been released on DVD. Some of the "Mannix" memorabilia he has collected includes a script signed by the cast, the creator's Emmy(R) nomination plaque and a TV Guide Magazine featuring the series on the cover.

"As a kid I loved watching TV shows and with its fight scenes and good guys leaping off staircases onto bad guys Mannix was the program I always wanted to see but never could since it didn't really syndicate widely in the 80s," said Linhart. "Technology has since allowed me to catch up and it is this TV nerd's dream come true to schedule a full day of my favorite Mannix episodes on CLOO."

Linhart has been passionate about TV content and ratings for as long as he could remember. He began memorizing TV schedules and grids when his peers were focusing on sports stats and scores. He was an avid fan of Variety at age ten; at thirteen, his hero was Brandon Tartikoff, a clear indication of the path he would follow professionally. Linhart collects TV memorabilia and among the many items in his cherished collection are Desi Arnaz's autobiography inscribed to Desi's mother, a pristine copy of the first issue of TV Guide and a ticket to attend NBC's first official television broadcast when President Roosevelt opened the 1939 World's Fair. Linhart oversees and manages all of USA and Cloo's ratings and multi-platform metrics, including primary, sales and digital/new media areas, thus overseeing qualitative and quantitative research for both networks.
