Under the Dome was Monday's most-watched program and highest rated in adults 25-54, according to Nielsen preliminary live plus same day ratings for August 5.

At 10:00 PM, Under the Dome was first in viewers (10.20m), A18-49 (2.5/08, tie) and A25-54 (3.3/07) up against atypical "Bachelorette" programming.

Compared to the time period last year, Under the Dome was up +185% in viewers, +213% in A18-49 and +230% in A25-54.

Compared to the same night last year, CBS was up +73% in viewers, +60% in A18-49 and +69% in A25-54.

RATINGS IN CONTEXT OF TIME WARNER CABLE DISPUTE

· Time Warner Cable has blacked out CBS stations to 3.2 million of its customers in New York, Los Angeles and Dallas.

· The influence on the national average is expected to be minimal. Through the first 4 nights, CBS Research estimates a minor 1% impact.

· Because of CBS's strong ratings growth this summer, the net effect of the blackout will not present an overall ratings hardship.

· In addition, August is traditionally one of the lowest months of the year for ratings and advertising revenue, making the overall financial impact of the blackout negligible.
