THE LATE SHOW with STEPHEN COLBERT will broadcast two live shows during the week of the presidential election, Monday, Nov. 7 and Wednesday, Nov. 9 (11:35 PM, live ET/delayed PT) on the CBS Television Network. Colbert will host both shows from the Ed Sullivan Theater in New York. These live shows are in addition to the previously announced live election night special on Showtime Tuesday, Nov. 8 (11:00 PM, live ET/8:00 PM, live PT).
On Monday, Nov. 7, Stephen Colbert will be joined by Don Cheadle, Katherine Waterston and musical guest Drive-By Truckers. On Wednesday, Nov. 9, Colbert welcomes Miles Teller, Neil deGrasse Tyson and Triumph, the Insult Comic Dog.
The live broadcasts of THE LATE SHOW that followed the recent presidential and vice presidential debates earned strong ratings as well as critical acclaim. The live show on Oct. 19 following the final debate delivered 3.08m viewers, resulting in THE LATE SHOW's largest Wednesday audience since Sept. 19, 2015. THE LATE SHOW posted a 0.6 in adults 18-49, its best Wednesday delivery since April 6, and a 0.8/04 in adults 25-54, its best Wednesday rating since Feb. 10.
