CBS's freshman comedies The Crazy Ones and The Millers both posted week-to-week growth, while The Big Bang Theory was Thursday's #1 program in viewers and key demographics, according to Nielsen preliminary live plus same day ratings for Oct. 17.

The Millers was up +5% in adults 25-54 (from 4.2/11) and +7% in adults 18-49 (from 3.0/09) and added +440,000 viewers (from 11.73m +4%).
THE CRAZY ONES was first in viewers (9.53m) and adults 25-54 (3.3/08) and was second in adults 18-49 (2.5/07, -0.1 behind ABC). Compared to last week,
The Crazy Ones was up +4% in adults 18-49 (from 2.4/07) and even in adults 25-54.
TWO AND A HALF MEN was second in viewers (8.52m), adults 25-54 (3.0/07) and averaged 2.1/06 in adults 18-49.
At 10:00 PM,
Elementary was second in viewers (8.41m) and averaged 2.3/06 in adults 25-54 and 1.6/04 in adults 18-49.
For the night,
CBS was first in viewers (10.71m), adults 25-54 (3.6/09) and adults 18-49 (2.6/08) for the fourth consecutive Thursday this season.
