THE LATE SHOW with STEPHEN COLBERT placed first again in the weekly late night ratings, winning by its largest margin since the show's premiere in September 2015, according to Nielsen live plus same day ratings for the week ending May 5. THE LATE SHOW averaged 3.06m viewers, up +12% from last week (2.74m) and +19% from the same week last year (2.57m). THE LATE SHOW topped "The Tonight Show" by +410,000 viewers (3.06m vs. 2.65m, +15%), the largest differential since the week of Sept. 8, 2015. This is the first time CBS beat "The Tonight Show" in viewers for 14 consecutive weeks since the week ending Oct. 16, 2009 to the week ending Jan. 15, 2010.
