THE LATE SHOW with STEPHEN COLBERT celebrates the start of the fall television season with two weeks of star-studded shows, beginning Monday, Sept. 18 (11:35 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network. Jerry Seinfeld, Steve Martin, Sofia Vergara, Jeff Bridges, Sterling K. Brown and Nick Kroll are among the featured guests. They join previously announced guests Hillary Rodham Clinton and Emma Stone, who will sit down with Colbert on THE LATE SHOW on Tuesday, Sept. 19.
CBS stars David Boreanaz, from the new drama SEAL TEAM; Mark Feuerstein, from the new comedy 9JKL; Bobby Moynihan, from the new comedy ME, MYSELF & I; and Jim Parsons, from the #1 comedy THE BIG BANG THEORY are also scheduled to appear. Also, THE LATE SHOW will feature musical performances from Chance The Rapper, The Killers and Miguel. This retrospective will feature a brand new open, shot behind the scenes at the 69TH PRIMETIME EMMY AWARDS the moment Colbert completes his hosting duties Sunday, Sept. 17. THE LATE SHOW with STEPHEN COLBERT placed first in the 2016-2017 television season averaging 3.26 million viewers, giving CBS its first late night win since 1994-1995. Compared to the last television year-to-date, THE LATE SHOW is up +21%, the only 11:35 PM program to post growth. With live plus 7-Day viewing, THE LATE SHOW has placed first in viewers with first-run programming every week since Jan. 30. Also, total streams of THE LATE SHOW are up +30% year-over-year across digital platforms, and according to Nielsen Social, THE LATE SHOW is the most social late night talk show year to date.Videos
