CBS's FACE THE NATION is Season's #1 Sunday Morning Public Affairs Program

Season-to-date, CBS News' FACE THE NATION is the #1 Sunday morning public affairs program in viewers (3.77m) and second in adults 25-54 (0.8/04, tied) according to Nielsen most current ratings. Compared to last season, FACE THE NATION is up +8% in viewers (from 3.50m) even in adults 25-54.

According to Nielsen live plus same day ratings for March 6, FACE THE NATION delivered 3.73 million viewers and 0.8/04 in adults 25-54.Editor's Note: FACE THE NATION's second half-hour was broadcast contiguously across57.83% of the CBS affiliates.

Compared to the same day last year, FACE THE NATION was up +17% in viewers (from 3.18m) and +33% in adults 25-54 (from 0.6/03).

The March 6 broadcast featured interviews with Republican presidential candidates Donald Trump and Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX). Host John Dickerson also spoke with Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton. Reince Priebus, Chairman of Republican National Committee, also appeared on the broadcast andCBS News Elections Director Anthony Salvanto revealed results of the new CBS News 2016 Battleground Tracker.This week's political panel included Molly Ball ofThe Atlantic, Ed O'Keefe ofThe Washington Post; Ezra Klein ofVox; and Michael Gerson ofThe Washington Post.
