CBS's FACE THE NATION is #1 Sunday Morning Public Affairs Program with Over 3.9M Viewers

CBS News' FACE THE NATION was the #1 Sunday morning public affairs program in viewers and second in adults 25-54 (tied) according to Nielsen live plus same day ratings for April 3. FACE THE NATION delivered 3.99 million viewers and 0.8/04 in adults 25-54 - the demographic most important to those who advertise in news. Editor's Note: FACE THE NATION's second half-hour was broadcast contiguously across 78.31% of the CBS affiliates.

Season-to-date, FACE THE NATION is first in viewers (3.80m) and second in adults 25-54 (0.8/04, tied). Compared to last season, FACE THE NATION is up +10% in viewers (from 3.46m) and even in adults 25-54.

The April 3rd broadcast featured interviews with Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump and RNC Chairman Reince Priebus. Host John Dickerson also spoke with CBS News Elections Director Anthony Salvanto and revealed new CBS News 2016 Battleground Tracker results. This week's political panel included CBS News Contributor and Wall Street Journal columnist Peggy Noonan; Ruth Marcus, columnist for The Washington Post; Mark Leibovich of The New York Times Magazine; and Ed O'Keefe of The Washington Post.
