CBS News' FACE THE NATION posted 3.71m viewers and 0.9/04 in adults 25-54 - the demographic most important to those who advertise in news - according to Nielsen live plus same day ratings for March 1. Editor's Note: FACE THE NATION's second half-hour was broadcast contiguously across 75% of the CBS affiliates.

FACE THE NATION was first in viewers and tied for first in adults 25-54 among the Sunday morning public affairs programs. Compared to the same day last year,
FACE THE NATION was up +13% in adults 25-54 (from 0.8/04) and +10% in viewers (from 3.36m).
Season-to-date,
FACE THE NATION is up +6% in viewers (3.51m from 3.31m) and even in adults 25-54 (0.8/04). Season-to-date,
FACE THE NATION is the #1 Sunday morning public affairs program in viewers and adults 25-54.
The March 1 broadcast of
FACE THE NATION featured interviews with Speaker of the House John Boehner (R-OH), Sen. Dianne Feinstein (D-CA) and former Gov. Mike Huckabee (R-AR). Guest host John Dickerson also spoke to The Atlantic's Jeffrey Goldberg for a discussion on Prime Minister Netanyahu's speech to Congress. FACE THE NATION's panel of analysts included Peggy Noonan of The Wall Street Journal, Republican strategist Kevin Madden, Mark Halperin of
BLOOMBERG POLITICS and Democratic strategist Maria Cardona.
