Compared to the same day last year,
FACE THE NATION was up +10% in viewers (from 2.90m).
Season-to-date,
FACE THE NATION is up +6% in viewers (3.50m from 3.29m) and even in adults 25-54 (0.8/04). Season-to-date,
FACE THE NATION is the #1 Sunday morning public affairs program in viewers and adults 25-54.
The March 8 broadcast of
FACE THE NATION featured interviews with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY), Rep. Trey Gowdy (R-SC), Sen. Chuck Schumer (D-NY) and an excerpt of
CBS News Senior White House Correspondent Bill Plante's interview with President Obama. Host Bob Schieffer also spoke to Sen. Tim Scott (R-SC) and Brown family attorney Benjamin Crump. FACE THE NATION's panel of analysts included Ruth Marcus of the Washington Post; April Ryan of the American Urban Radio Networks and author of The Presidency in Black and White;
CBS News State Department correspondent Margaret Brennan; and Gerry Seib of the Wall Street Journal.
