CBS News' FACE THE NATION was the country's #1 Sunday morning public affairs program, according to Nielsen live plus same day ratings for Nov. 8. FACE THE NATION is also the #1 Sunday morning public affairs program this season, according to Nielsen most current ratings.
Sunday's broadcast delivered 3.51 million viewers and a 0.8/04 with adults 25-54.
FACE THE NATION posted its best adults 25-54 delivery since May 3, 2015. Editor's Note: FACE THE NATION's second half-hour was broadcast contiguously across 57.4% of the
CBS affiliates.
Season-to-date,
FACE THE NATION is delivering 3.47 million viewers (+6% from 3.26m last year) and a 0.7/03 with adults 25-54 (tied for second).
The Nov. 8 broadcast featured interviews with Republican presidential candidates Dr. Ben Carson and Donald Trump. Host John Dickerson also spoke with Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand (D-NY). This week's panel of analysts included Ed O'Keefe of Washington Post; Jonathan Martin of The New York Times; Jeffrey Goldberg of The Atlantic; and Wall Street Journal columnist Peggy Noonan, author of the new memoir The Time of Our Lives: Collected Writings.
