CBS's CSI Sweeps Time Period in Viewers and Key Demos

CSI and SURVIVOR swept their respective time periods in viewers, adults 18-49 and adults 25-54 and CRIMINAL MINDS posted week-to-week demo growth leading CBS to a Wednesday win in viewers and key demos, according to Nielsen preliminary live plus same day ratings for Oct. 17.

At 10:00 PM, CSI: CRIME SCENE INVESTIGATION was first in households (6.9/11), viewers (10.56m), adults 25-54 (3.1/08) and adults 18-49 (2.4/07), topping new drama competitors "Nashville" (6.75m, 2.0/06) and "Chicago Fire" (5.91m, 1.5/04).

SURVIVOR: PHILIPPINES was first in households (6.3/10), viewers (10.11m), adults 25-54 (3.7/10) and adults 18-49 (2.7/08). Compared to last week, SURVIVOR added +290,000 viewers (from 9.82m, +3%).

CRIMINAL MINDS was first in households (7.5/11), viewers (11.78m), second in adults 25-54 (3.9/09) and adults 18-49 (3.1/08). CRIMINAL MINDS was up +3% each in households (from 7.3/11), adults 25-54 (from 3.8/09) and adults 18-49 (from 3.0/08) and added +290,000 viewers (from 11.49m, +3%) compared to last week.

For the night, CBS was first in households (6.9/11), viewers (10.81m), adults 25-54 (3.6/09) and adults 18-49 (2.7/08).
