CBS's "Big Bang Theory" is Thursday's #1 Show in Viewers

THE BIG BANG THEORY was Thursday's #1 program in viewers and key demographics, THE MENTALIST placed first in its time period in viewers and adults 25-54 as CBS won Thursday in viewers and finished second in adults 18-49, according to Nielsen preliminary live plus same day ratings for Sept. 29.

THE BIG BANG THEORY was first in households (8.7/15), viewers (14.55m), adults 25-54 (6.1/17) and adults 18-49 (4.8/15). THE BIG BANG THEORY retained 98% of its premiere week delivery in adults 18-49 and added +250,000 viewers (from 14.30m, +2%). THE BIG BANG THEORY was the night's top broadcast in households, viewers, adults 25-54 and adults 18-49.

HOW TO BE A GENTLEMAN (P) was second in households (5.5/09), viewers (8.96m), adults 25-54 (3.5/09) and adults 18-49 (2.7/08).

At 9:00PM, PERSON OF INTEREST (7.7/12, 12.42m) averaged 3.8/09 in adults 25-54 and 2.7/07 in adults 18-49.

At 10:00PM, THE MENTALIST was first in households (8.0/13), viewers (12.71m), adults 25-54 (3.6/09), and second in adults 18-49 (2.5/07).

For the night, CBS was first in households (7.6/12), viewers (12.29m), second in adults 25-54 (4.1/10) and adults 18-49 (3.0/08).
