CBS swept Thursday in viewers, adults 18-49 and adults 25-54, led by THE BIG BANG THEORY, the night's #1 program in all measures, according to Nielsen preliminary live plus same day ratings for April 4.
The Big Bang Theory was first in households (10.0/17), viewers (16.79m), adults 25-54 (6.6/19), adults 18-49 (4.9/17) and adults 18-34 (3.5/14). Compared to the last first-run episode on March 14, The Big Bang Theory was up +2% in both households (from 9.8/17) and adults 18-49 (from 4.8/16), +3% in adults 25-54 (from 6.4/18), +6% in adults 18-34 (from 3.3/13) and added +790,000 viewers (from 16.00m, +5%). The Big Bang Theory was the night's #1 program in households, viewers, adults 25-54, adults 18-49 and adults 18-34.
Two and a Half Men was first in households (8.4/13), viewers (13.58m), adults 25-54 (5.3/14) and adults 18-49 (3.8/12). Compared to the last first-run episode on March 14, Two and a Half Men was up +9% in households (from 7.7/13), +10% in adults 25-54 (from 4.8/12), +12% in adults 18-49 (from 3.4/10) and added +1.35m viewers (from 12.23m, +11%).
Person of Interest was first in households (9.0/14), viewers (14.34m) and adults 25-54 (4.1/10), and was tied for first in adults 18-49 (2.7/07, with ABC).
Elementary was first in households (6.8/11) and viewers (10.36m), and was second in both adults 25-54 (3.1/08, -0.1 behind ABC) and adults 18-49 (2.1/06).
For the night, CBS was first in households (8.3/13), viewers (13.29m), adults 25-54 (4.4/11) and adults 18-49 (3.1/09).
