THE BIG BANG THEORY matched its largest audience ever and equaled its season-high adults 18-49 rating, according to Nielsen preliminary live plus same day ratings for Thursday, Nov. 8.
TWO AND A HALF MEN delivered its largest audience of the season while matching its season-high adults 18-49 rating and PERSON OF INTEREST notched its largest audience of the season.
THE BIG BANG THEORY swept its time period, finishing first in households (10.4/16), viewers (16.54m), adults 25-54 (6.8/17), adults 18-49 (5.0/15) and adults 18-34 (3.5/15). If the ratings hold, THE BIG BANG THEORY was the night's #1 program in households, viewers, adults 25-54, adults 18-49 and adults 18-34. THE BIG BANG THEORY posted series-high household ratings, matched series-high viewer delivery, posted its best delivery in adults 25-54 since Feb. 9, 2012, and matched its season-high adult 18-49 performance.
TWO AND A HALF MEN was first in households (8.8/13), viewers (14.09m), adults 25-54 (5.6/13) and adults 18-49 (4.0/11). TWO AND A HALF MEN posted its best viewers delivery since Dec. 12, 2011, its best adults 25-54 rating since Feb. 20, 2012 and matched its season-high adults 18-49 rating.
PERSON OF INTEREST was first in households (9.3/14), viewers (14.73m) and adults 25-54 (4.3/10), and was second in adults 18-49 (2.9/07). PERSON OF INTEREST posted its best deliveries in households and viewers since March 8, 2012, matched its season-best adults 25-54 performance and matched its second-best adult 18-49 performance this season.
ELEMENTARY was first at 10:00 PM in households (7.0/12), viewers (10.73m), adults 25-54 (3.2/08) and adults 18-49 (2.2/06). Compared to the last first-run, non-breakout episode (on Oct. 25), ELEMENTARY was up +3% in households (from 6.8/11), +7% in adults 25-54 (from 3.0/07), even in adults 18-49 and added +420,000 viewers (from 10.31m, +4%).
For the night, CBS was first in households (8.6/14), viewers (13.59m), adults 25-54 (4.6/10) and adults 18-49 (3.2/09). Compared to the same night last year, CBS was up +24% in viewers, +14% in adults 18-49 and +21% in adults 25-54.
