The Big Bang Theory season finale was the #1 program in live plus 7-day DVR lift among both viewers and adults 18-49 during the final full week of the season, according to Nielsen ratings for the week ending May 19.
THE BIG BANG THEORY gained +4.86 million viewers to 20.34 million from its live plus same day average of 15.48m. Among adults 18-49, The Big Bang Theory jumped +2.2 rating points to a 7.0 from 4.8 live plus same day.
In the season's final full week, finales of NCIS (22.22m), The Big Bang Theory (20.34m) and NCIS: Los Angeles (16.28m) all delivered more viewers than the season finales of "American Idol Thursday" (15.74m) and "American Idol Wednesday" (13.22m).
Among adults 18-49, The Big Bang Theory (7.0), How I Met Your Mother (4.5) and NCIS (4.5) also beat the finales of "American Idol Thursday" (4.2) and "American Idol Wednesday" (3.4).
