CBS's BIG BANG THEORY Hits All-Time Series High in Viewers

The Big Bang Theory hit all-time series high ratings in viewers, adults 18-49 and adults 25-54 for the second consecutive week, according to Nielsen preliminary live plus same day ratings for Thursday, Jan. 10.

THE BIG BANG THEORY swept its time period, finishing first in households (11.8/19), viewers (19.78m), adults 25-54 (8.1/21), adults 18-49 (6.3/19) and adults 18-34 (4.3/15). The Big Bang Theory posted series highs for the second consecutive week in households, viewers, adults 25-54 and adults 18-49 while posting its best adults 18-34 performance since Feb. 8, 2010. The Big Bang Theory beat the first-run competition combined in viewers (vs. 14.44m, +37%), adults 25-54 (vs. 5.2/14, +56%), adults 18-49 (vs. 4.2/13, +50%) and adults 18-34 (vs. 3.4/12, +26%).

TWO AND A HALF MEN was first in households (8.8/14), viewers (14.34m), adults 25-54 (5.6/13) and adults 18-49 (4.2/12) from 8:30-9:00 PM. Two and a Half Men posted its second-best delivery this season in both viewers and adults 18-49 and matched its second-best performances this season in adults 25-54.

PERSON OF INTEREST was first in households (9.5/15), viewers (15.56m), adults 25-54 (4.6/11) and adults 18-49 (3.3/09) at 9:00 PM. Person of Interest posted its second-best delivery this season in these measures. Person of Interest was Thursday's #1 drama in households, viewers, adults 25-54 and adults 18-49.

ELEMENTARY was first in households (7.2/12) and viewers (11.33m), tied for first in adults 25-54 (3.3/08, with ABC) and was second in adults 18-49 (2.4/07).

For the night, CBS was first in households (9.0/14), viewers (14.65m), adults 25-54 (4.9/12) and adults 18-49 (3.6/10) - the second-best Thursday delivery this season for CBS. Compared to the same night last year, CBS was up 3% in adults 18-49, 2% in adults 25-54 and 1% in viewers.
