CBS's 48 HOURS: "Buried Truth" was Saturday's #1 non-sports program with viewers and adults 25-54, and delivered the broadcast's largest audience since April, according to Nielsen live plus same day ratings for Nov. 12.

48 HOURS delivered 5.07 million viewers and a 1.2/04 with adults 24-54, the demographic that matters most to those who advertise in news. Compared to the last first-run episode on Oct. 29, 48 HOURS was up +33% in adults 25-54 (from 0.9/03) and added +1.15m viewers (from 3.92m, +29%). 48 HOURS posted its largest audience since April 30, matched season best performance in adults 25-54.

Saturday's broadcast featured an investigation into the life of alleged serial killer Todd Kohlhepp, who, police say, confessed to killing seven people over a stretch of more than a decade. His story UNRAVELED after a woman who had gone missing with her boyfriend was found chained in a storage container on his South Carolina property. The woman said she saw him kill her boyfriend. Correspondents David Begnaud and Peter Van Sant interviewed investigators, family members, neighbors and friends of the victims for the broadcast. And they talked with experts and others about the mind of a serial killer.

Begnaud also had an emotional interview with Kohlhepp's mother, Regina Tague, who maintained her son was not a monster, but "very misunderstood." She told Begnaud her son confessed to the killings and said there were no more victims to be uncovered.
