CBS's 48 HOURS Encore Broadcast Delivers Big Ratings

48 HOURS: "The Accuser" (R) (10:00-11:00 PM) was first among the broadcast networks in adults 25-54 - the demographic that matters most to those who advertise in news - as well as adults 18-49, viewers and households, according to Nielsen live plus same day ratings for June 15, 2013. 48 HOURS: "The Accuser" posted a 2.8/05 with 3.90m viewers, a 0.9/03 in adults 25-54 and a 0.6/02 with adults 18-49.

Saturday's broadcast featured the story of Ryan Ferguson, who is locked up in a Missouri prison serving out a 40-year sentence for a murder of a newspaper sports editor he says he didn't commit. He was convicted on a confession that his main accuser now says was all a lie. However, despite the reversal, Ferguson remains in jail. It's a story Erin Moriarty and 48 Hours have been on for seven years.
