CBS'S LATE SHOW Scores Best Weekly Audience Since Show's Premiere  Image

THE LATE SHOW with STEPHEN COLBERT had its most-watched week since the show's premiere in September 2015, averaging 3.38 million viewers for the week, according to Nielsen live plus same day ratings for the week ending Dec. 15. The show averaged more than three million viewers for the ninth week this season, driven by its most watched Friday ever (3.65m). Season-to-date, most current, THE LATE SHOW is up +26% in viewers (3.72m from 2.95m) and +13% in adults 25-54 (0.9 from 0.8).

Stephen Colbert brings his signature satire and comedy to THE LATE SHOW WITH STEPHEN COLBERT where he talks with an eclectic mix of guests about what is new and relevant in the worlds of politics, entertainment, business, music, technology and more.

Featuring bandleader Jon Batiste with his band Stay Human, the show is broadcast from the historic and newly renovated Ed Sullivan Theater. Stephen Colbert took over as host, executive producer and writer of THE LATE SHOW on Sept. 8, 2015.
