CBS Wins Week with 7 Out of the 10 Top Broadcasts

CBS won the week with seven of the top 10 and 14 of the top 20 broadcasts led by number one THE BIG BANG THEORY, which delivered its largest audience of the season, according to Nielsen live plus same day ratings for the week ending March 8.

In addition to its season high in viewers, THE BIG BANG THEORY also scored its season best Thursday ratings in both adults 18-49 and adults 25-54. THE ODD COUPLE, television's number one new comedy, improved in its third week, up in viewers, adults 18-49 and adults 25-54 from the prior week. MOM also built on its week ago time period premiere.

The series premiere of CSI: CYBER won its hour in all key measures and improved the time period by double digit percentages in viewers, adults 18-49 and adults 25-54.

Season-to-date, CBS is first in viewers, up +7% (11.56m from 10.84m), adults 25-54 (tie) unchanged at 3.3/09 and second in adults 18-49, also unchanged at 2.4/08.

• THE BIG BANG THEORY (8:00-8:31PM) was first in viewers (18.17m), adults 25-54 (6.5/18) and adults 18-49 (4.8/16). THE BIG BANG THEORY posted its largest audience of the season, Thursday best adults 25-54 and adults 18-49 ratings. THE BIG BANG THEORY was the night's #1 program in viewers, adults 25-54 and adults 18-49.

THE ODD COUPLE

• THE ODD COUPLE (8:31-9:01PM) was first in viewers (12.36m), adults 25-54 (4.3/11) and adults 18-49 (3.0/09). Compared to last week, THE ODD COUPLE was up +7% in adults 18-49 (from 2.8/09), +8% in adults 25-54 (from 4.0/11) and added +1.28m viewers (from 11.08m, +12%).

MOM

• MOM was first in viewers (9.67m), second in adults 25-54 (3.4/08, -0.1 behind ABC) and adults 18-49 (2.2/07). Compared to the last week, MOM was up +13% in adults 25-54 (from 3.0/08), +5% in adults 18-49 (from 2.1/06) and added +1.37m viewers (from 8.30m, +16%). MOM beat every program on the competition in viewers.

CSI: CYBER

• CSI: CYBER (P) was first in viewers (10.46m), adults 25-54 (2.7/07) and adults 18-49 (1.8/05). CSI: CYBER was up +50% in both adults 25-54 (from 1.8/05) and adults 18-49 (from 1.2/04) and added +3.72m viewers (from 6.74m, +55%) from the winter finale of STALKER on Feb.11.
