CBS won the final Monday of the season in adults 18-49 and adults 25-54 led by the time period-winning season finales of TWO AND A HALF MEN, THE BIG BANG THEORY (the night's number one program in key demos) and CSI: MIAMI, according to Nielsen preliminary live plus same day ratings for May 24.
The season finale of HOW I MET YOUR MOTHER (5.0/08, 8.18m) was first in adults 18-34 (3.3/11), tied for first in adults 18-49 (3.5/11, with ABC) and second in adults 25-54 (3.8/10). HOW I MET YOUR MOTHER posted its best viewers and adults 18-49 deliveries since March 22, 2010, and its best adults 18-34 ratings since March 8, 2010.
The season finale of RULES OF ENGAGEMENT (5.0/08, 8.23m) was second in adults 25-54 (3.9/10) and adults 18-49 (3.3/09). RULES OF ENGAGEMENT posted its best viewers and adults 18-49 deliveries since March 22, 2010.

TWO AND A HALF MEN posted its best deliveries in households and viewers since March 8, 2010, and best adults 25-54 and adults 18-49 deliveries since March 22, 2010.
The season finale of THE BIG BANG THEORY was first in households (8.9/14), viewers (14.78m), adults 25-54 (6.3/15), adults 18-49 (5.2/13) and adults 18-34 (3.8/11). Compared to its season finale last year (on May 11, 2009 at 8PM), THE BIG BANG THEORY was up +51% in households (from 5.9/10), +40% in adults 25-54 (from 4.5/12), +41% in both adults 18-49 (from 3.7/11) and adults 18-34 (from 2.7/09) and added +5.00m viewers (from 9.78m, +51%). THE BIG BANG THEORY was Monday's number one program in adults 25-54, adults 18-49 and adults 18-34.
The season finale of CSI: MIAMI was first in households (7.8/13), viewers (12.39m), adults 25-54 (4.3/11) and adults 18-49 (3.3/09). CSI: MIAMI delivered its best households and viewers deliveries since February 8, 2010, best adults 25-54 delivery since April 19, 2010, and best adults 18-49 ratings since March 8, 2010.
For the night, CBS was first in adults 25-54 (4.8/12) and adults 18-49 (3.9/11); it was second in households (7.3/12) and viewers (11.89m). CBS was first among adults 18-49 for the last three Mondays and first in adults 25-54 over the last two Mondays.
